Grenadier Guards Officers Sword and Scabbard
Grenadier Guards Officers Sword and Scabbard
Crown Swords is proud to be appointed as the official sword cutler to etc Grenadier Guards.
The 1845 pattern Infantry sword underwent slight alteration, resulting in the current 1854 Grenadier Guards Sword. In 1857 the blade of the sword was first embossed with battle honours and regimental badges, a tradition still preserved until today.
The 1854 pattern Grenadier Guards sword is carried in a nickel-plated steel scabbard with a shoe, mouthpiece and two suspension bands and rings. A brown leather scabbard is also available for service wear.
Crown Swords is the only UK company to provide every pattern of sword and scabbard currently in use by the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces.
